Today we had Landrie's 2ND birthday party at the park. She had many people show up and received some great gifts. It was fun to watch her play with her friends, eat cake and open her presents. Every present she opened she wanted it taken out of the box. I have to pat myself on the back... I attempted to make landrie's cake and was very surprised that it turned out so well. After we left the park and all of her friends and family went home she crashed on the couch with mommy for a 3 hour nap.

Today Landrie turned 2 and for her birthday we decided to take her to the zoo to celebrate. She also had 3 special people join in the celebration mama bowles, Bryn and cousin Chloe. It was so great to see her smile when she watched the animals in there cages. She also loved going down the snake slide and the elephant slide on the play ground. Grandma bought her an elephant toy that makes lots of noise and I think it is driving Bryan alittle nuttso but if it makes her happy he doesn't care.

Last week we went on the annual Bowles family vacation to St.George. We decided to go on monday just to give a few days to settle in and spend time together before the whole family got there. On the way down Landrie watched Cinderella and then took a nap, I was surprised that she was so good in the car. When we got to the condo we decided to go swimming. Landrie was so excited to go until it was time to get in. She warmed up after 10 minutes or so and then she loved the water.

Bryan's parents got there tuesday, and on wednesday morning my father in law asked if we would like to drive through Zion national park because he knew I had never been there. It was a beautiful drive, Landrie loved going through the 1.1 mile tunnel I think because Grandpa kept honking the horn and daddy kept screaming her name so she could hear the echo.

We did alot of shopping, golfing and swimming. We went up on the red mountain to look for golf balls and played a family baseball game outside the condo. One of the funniest things that happened were the ants in the pants. Landrie was sitting on the grass and I noticed she had a few ants on her legs but it was worse than what I thought. When I picked her up I saw that she had them on her arms, under her dress and when I looked by her diaper they had made there way in her diaper so I undressed her outside and ran her into the bath. When she was in the bath she told me her head itched, I took her ponytails out and they were in her hair. It was amazing how fast those critters crawl. All in all we had a wonderful time on vacation.

We started off going to the parade with all the kids. I was so exciting to see all the little ones running toward the candy being thrown from the floats. We got a few good poses of the kids. We then headed off to the park for some rides and games with the family and kids. It was fun to watch Landrie and Payton on the rides. Landrie had a hard time riding the carousel but they loved the petting zoo. The fireworks were great.

Birthday party extravaganza

Today was day filled with parties... we went to Kyla's  first birthday at 11:00 and then off to Jaxon's fourth birthday at noon. We ate lots of cake and ice cream. 

Car Accident

Last friday night I was headed to Wicked and I thought my husband was at dinner with his parents when I get a phone call that he had been in a mild fender bender. I was happy to hear that Bryan and Landrie were both okay, that was my biggest concern. To make a long story short we are driving a rental car that doesn't smell to well, we had to buy a new car seat, bryan had to get a new license because the cop kept his and bryan is having bad back pains. They are both doing great and bryan is going into get an MRI on friday, I will keep you posted.

Coloring Easter eggs

Today was the first time I colored eggs with Landrie and the first time she has ever colored eggs at all. It was a very funny experience.... She wanted to hold the egg in the color instead of dropping the egg in the colored water. She also figured out that when she pushed in one spot hard enough the egg would crack. It was so much fun. Also the pictures that I posted she is only in a diaper..... I figured that I didn't need colorful clothes.

Last week we bought Landrie a Swingset for the back yard. She loves to go out back and slide mostly but when she is not outside she is standing at the window asking to go "ouside"! Or the most recent reaction is her tantruming for a half hour or so, when we have told her no outside because it is to cold.

Lost I pod

Today was an eventful day. After working all weekend I got the news that my husband's I pod touch had been stolen out of the mens bathroom. I was sad to hear this mainly because that is his favorite gadget to play on but it also contained pictures and ultrasound pictures and videos of Landrie. I am hoping that someone will turn it in to the lost and found at work. Tonight sound be fun, We get to go to dinner at Ruby River for Bryan's 26th birthday.

Family Reunion

Saturday was a great day. We drove to Mona,Utah for a family reunion. I heard that this was the first family reunion we have had for the 20 years. I was so happy to see my grandpa's twin brother Ralph, he is turning 80 years old on the 11th of March. It makes me think of my grandpa but I think it is great that we still have Ralph.

First Post

Today I am offically typing my first post. I set up my blog 3 days ago and have had a few problems that my sweet husband fixed for me. I reason for my interest in setting up a blog is because my friends and family have the cutest blogs and I love to keep in touch by reading there posts. Well I hope to post something fun and exciting everyday. I will stop rambling on and finish this post. I hope you all enjoy reading.
