Yippee she's 3!!!

My sweet little girl turned 3 this month. We had a huge party for her and many of her friends and family showed up. The theme of her party was Tinkerbell so we decided to rent a bounce house with tinkerbell on the front of it. The kids had a great time jumping and I think the parents had just as much fun jumping too. Landrie got some great gifts, I think her favorite was the cowboy boots that my parents gave her. She tries to wear them every where. After all her friends left she took an nap and then we took her and her cousin chloe to chuck e cheese, they have a great time. I am so happy to have a three year old. She is funny, sweet and says the most amazing things, I am so proud to be her mom.

Mommy and me tea!!!

I heard that Gardner Village Doll shop had an activity where your child can bring there babies and have tea with them. I decided that I would take Landrie there and I am so glad I did. She had a wonderful time with her baby and her friend chloe. Basically they let the little girls dress up in Hats, necklaces and aprons. They have a choice of treats and drinks, you can stay as long as you like. She had a great time feeding her baby and pouring tea into her little tea cup. I think I had just as much fun as she did.

Sugar & Spice

I am proud to say that I now have a 3 year old as of August 21st. It has been amazing to see how she has grown. She currently started going to daycare three days a week and already she has learned 4 new songs which she teaches me, she eats foods that we dont cook and likes it and has made friends with a little girl named Ella. I see how she grows daily and it makes me miss that little baby that I once had. I am so proud of her and all the things she has accomplished this far, I can't for the years to come.

Baby Brighton

Monday we welcomed Brighton Blaine Bowles to our family. We was 4 pounds 11 ounces and is 16 inches long. He was born 6 weeks early and is currently in the NICU. He has a breathing tube but he is a little fighter. I got the chance to go in and visit him last night and what a blessing to see that sweet angel. Brighton's mom, dad and brother jaxon are doing great. We are waiting for the day he can come home.

Her birthday cake I made

Today we had Landrie's 2ND birthday party at the park. She had many people show up and received some great gifts. It was fun to watch her play with her friends, eat cake and open her presents. Every present she opened she wanted it taken out of the box. I have to pat myself on the back... I attempted to make landrie's cake and was very surprised that it turned out so well. After we left the park and all of her friends and family went home she crashed on the couch with mommy for a 3 hour nap.

Two at the zoo!!!

Landrie on the elephant slide

Today Landrie turned 2 and for her birthday we decided to take her to the zoo to celebrate. She also had 3 special people join in the celebration mama bowles, Bryn and cousin Chloe. It was so great to see her smile when she watched the animals in there cages. She also loved going down the snake slide and the elephant slide on the play ground. Grandma bought her an elephant toy that makes lots of noise and I think it is driving Bryan alittle nuttso but if it makes her happy he doesn't care.

Vacation time

Kimmy and Landrie at Fiesta Fun
Family picture at Fiesta Fun
Zion National Park
Landrie's first time in pool.

Last week we went on the annual Bowles family vacation to St.George. We decided to go on monday just to give a few days to settle in and spend time together before the whole family got there. On the way down Landrie watched Cinderella and then took a nap, I was surprised that she was so good in the car. When we got to the condo we decided to go swimming. Landrie was so excited to go until it was time to get in. She warmed up after 10 minutes or so and then she loved the water.
Bryan's parents got there tuesday, and on wednesday morning my father in law asked if we would like to drive through Zion national park because he knew I had never been there. It was a beautiful drive, Landrie loved going through the 1.1 mile tunnel I think because Grandpa kept honking the horn and daddy kept screaming her name so she could hear the echo.
We did alot of shopping, golfing and swimming. We went up on the red mountain to look for golf balls and played a family baseball game outside the condo. One of the funniest things that happened were the ants in the pants. Landrie was sitting on the grass and I noticed she had a few ants on her legs but it was worse than what I thought. When I picked her up I saw that she had them on her arms, under her dress and when I looked by her diaper they had made there way in her diaper so I undressed her outside and ran her into the bath. When she was in the bath she told me her head itched, I took her ponytails out and they were in her hair. It was amazing how fast those critters crawl. All in all we had a wonderful time on vacation.
