Landrie's first time in pool.Last week we went on the annual Bowles family vacation to St.George. We decided to go on monday just to give a few days to settle in and spend time together before the whole family got there. On the way down Landrie watched Cinderella and then took a nap, I was surprised that she was so good in the car. When we got to the condo we decided to go swimming. Landrie was so excited to go until it was time to get in. She warmed up after 10 minutes or so and then she loved the water.
Bryan's parents got there tuesday, and on wednesday morning my father in law asked if we would like to drive through Zion national park because he knew I had never been there. It was a beautiful drive, Landrie loved going through the 1.1 mile tunnel I think because Grandpa kept honking the horn and daddy kept screaming her name so she could hear the echo.
We did alot of shopping, golfing and swimming. We went up on the red mountain to look for golf balls and played a family baseball game outside the condo. One of the funniest things that happened were the ants in the pants. Landrie was sitting on the grass and I noticed she had a few ants on her legs but it was worse than what I thought. When I picked her up I saw that she had them on her arms, under her dress and when I looked by her diaper they had made there way in her diaper so I undressed her outside and ran her into the bath. When she was in the bath she told me her head itched, I took her ponytails out and they were in her hair. It was amazing how fast those critters crawl. All in all we had a wonderful time on vacation.
